MUMBAI — Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India said yesterday that the shareholders have approved the proposal to foray into education business through postal ballot.
The shareholders have passed a special resolution for alteration of “Other Objects” clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company, Dolphin Offshore Enterprises said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.
They resolved to establish educational and research centres and institutes in India or abroad for imparting training, educating and development of underwater diving techniques, methods, skills, etc, it said.
The shareholders gave their nod to undertake research and development in the area of underwater technologies, including saturation diving operating and maintaining remotely operated vehicles, it said.
They also gave their permission to establish educational institutions recognised as deemed university for training all categories of divers and under water technicians and welders, it said.
The shareholders passed the resolution with requisite majority, it said.
