Oceanteam ASA’s second DP2 construction support vessel (CSV) North Ocean 102 was christened in a ceremony at Metalships shipyard in Vigo, Spain, at the end of last year, and has now started work on a project by project basis for the Mexican Offshore Construction and inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) company CICSA.
North Ocean 102 is configured as a construction support/installation vessel and is now at work under the terms of a five-year deal with Cisca.

HOUSTON — Cal Dive has been awarded a contract by Pemex Exploración y Producción for the installation of 13.9 kilometers of 20 inch subsea pipeline located in the Litoral Tabasco Field in 30 meters of water. The offshore Litoral Tabasco Field is located in Southeastern Mexico in the southwestern part of the Campeche Sound.

Baker Energy de Venezuela, C.A. (BEVCA), a subsidiary of Michael Baker Corporation, announced that it has been awarded a two-year manpower contract by Chevron Global Technology Services Company in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Under the contract, BEVCA will provide recruiting services for administrative and technical personnel. The contract encompasses over 135 Venezuelan operations and maintenance (O&M) personnel and support staff.
