An Italian union official on Friday said that a one-day general strike will be called on July 29 at all of oil and gas group Eni’s refineries in Italy in order to protest management plans to close some of the facilities.
Emilio Miceli, general secretary at Italy’s Filctem Cgil union, told Reuters that the strike would last one-day at all Eni refineries.
For other non-Eni operated refineries the strike would last only two-hours, he added.
