Commercial diving – or professional diving as it’s also often called – is the type of diving you get paid for. This can include Offshore diving, inland / onshore diving, HAZMAT diving or sewer diving.
Being a professional diver opens up another world. When you dive on your vacation you see corals and fish, have fun and do it all slowly. When you dive as work your job is to finish a task usually under difficult conditions.
Most types of commercial diving requires special training and certification from a national agency. While commercial diving can be very well paid, it’s usually very expensive to attain the needed training and certifications.
