I’ll bet you could hear the music in your head when you read the post title, “These are a few of my favorite things”. Yes those lyrics are  from The Sound of Music. But this post isn’t about an overrated musical (purely my own opinion), this post is about Lego’s. Who didn’t spend countless hours playing with quite possibly the best kids toys of all time. If you didn’t already know Lego has come out with a multitude of diving related sets.

This is a Divers set released in 1997. It contains an offshore research station, a submersible, a helicopter, a rubber dinghy, a small patch of seafloor, several animals, a skeleton and four minifigures.

This was a Divers set released in 1997. It contains an underwater research station, a mini-submarine, a boat, five minifigures, various sea creatures and a piece of seafloor with a reef.

This is a Divers set released in 1997. It contains a submarine, a portion of seafloor with a small reef, a manta ray and three minifigures, including two divers with various equipment.

This is a Divers set released in 1997. It contains a boat with a crane and a shark cage, a mini submarine, an inflatable dinghy, an underwater landscape with a whale skeleton, various diving accessories, five Minifigures and several sea creatures.

This is a Divers set released in 1997. It contains a boat with a winch, a small submarine, a portion of seafloor, a manta ray and three Minifigures.

This is a Divers set released in 1997. It included a large research vessel, a mini submarine, a small boat, an underwater landscape, six minifigures, a skeleton and various forms of sealife, including sharks and manta rays. With 464 pieces, this is the largest set of the Divers line.

They have also come out with numerous “minifigures” and other smaller sets.

There you have it! Lego has quite the affinity towards divers!

  1. Lego was never this good when i was little ! we only had town, castle and space lego .
    now theres diver, pirates, indiana jones and star wars what i would give to be a kid again !
